Sound familiar?
Gut symptoms are hard to pin down
“I ate the same lunch yesterday and felt fine.”
“What did I eat last Tuesday? No idea.”
“I cut out so much and still feel awful.”
Fodia keeps the record for you, so the patterns show up on their own.
Why Fodia
Less guessing, more eating
See what sets you off
Fodia lines up your meals and symptoms and points out the foods that keep showing up before your bad days.
Log a meal without counting grams
Type it the way you would text a friend, or snap a photo. Rate bloating or pain from 1 to 10.
Know the FODMAPs on your plate
AI meal analysis flags possible fructans, lactose, polyols and more, with estimated calories and macros.
Walk into appointments prepared
Export a dated CSV for any date range and give your doctor or dietitian facts instead of memories.
Stop guessing which meal did it. Start eating with confidence again.
How it works
From first meal to clear patterns
- Step 1

Log what you eat and how you feel
Describe a meal or snap a photo, then add symptoms as they happen. Gentle reminders keep the diary complete.
- Step 2

Check the FODMAPs
Analyze any meal for possible triggers like fructans, lactose and polyols, plus estimated calories and macros.
- Step 3

Spot your patterns
Daily, weekly and monthly summaries show which foods line up with your symptoms, using only your own entries.
Privacy by design
Your diary stays on your phone
Reminders never show food or symptom details on your lock screen. Nothing leaves your phone unless you share it.

FAQ
Questions, answered
Is Fodia free?
Yes. Logging meals and symptoms, reminders and data export are free. Fodia Plus unlocks unlimited AI insights plus weekly and monthly analysis, and you can try it free for 3 days.
Do I need an account?
No. Open the app and log your first meal. There is no email, password or sign up.
Where is my diary stored?
On your phone, encrypted with SQLCipher. Meals you choose to analyze are sent to our AI provider only to produce an estimate, then discarded.
Can Fodia tell me which foods trigger my IBS?
Fodia shows timing patterns between what you ate and how you felt in your own logs. A pattern is not proof of cause, so review it with your doctor or dietitian before you change your diet.
Does Fodia work with the low FODMAP diet?
Yes. It flags possible FODMAP groups in your meals and keeps the record you need during elimination and reintroduction. It works best alongside a dietitian.
How accurate is the AI meal analysis?
It is an estimate from an AI model, not a lab measurement, and every result is labeled that way. You can report anything that looks wrong. Never use it to decide whether a food is safe for an allergy.
Can I share my diary with my doctor?
Yes. Export a clean CSV for any date range and bring a dated record to your appointment.
Is Fodia only for IBS?
No. You can track any digestive symptom, including with IBD, SIBO, celiac disease or a food intolerance. Fodia is a diary, so follow your care team on treatment.
Can I delete my data?
Yes. Delete everything with one tap in settings. Your diary lives on your phone, not on our servers.
